My origin story
Dr. Duane C. Scott has been writing and creating artistically since his time in the United States Coast Guard when he was stationed on Attu Island, Alaska. The beauty and wildness of Alaska drew him to the visual arts and inspired him to become a writer and photographer as well. His real passion for the combination of graphic art and the written word has inspired his first children's book, out right now, "Trucking Across America", which will launch a whole series of children's books featuring his two main characters, Trucker Man and Diesel. You will find these two characters sprinkled about to guide you through the website. So, have fun and enjoy.

Christopher Studios is home of, "Trucking Across America", " Touched Again", "The Tuskegee Airmen: Heroes in the Heavens", and a host of other books in the "Trucking Series" and the Black History is American History series.
The illustrations from the children's books are visually playful and stunning created by Dr. Duane C. Scott and his passion for history flows like a river into all of his books. It is our hope that you will read these offerings with the same passion it took to create them.
